TheRealDTingle: I'm Derek. In 2012, at 245lbs, I decided to change my life through diet and exercise and lost 90lbs. In the process, I managed to get myself in the best shape of my life. I began training for endurance sports, completing my first half marathon in 2013. Triathlon has become my passion and in July 2016 I finished my first Ironman. Along with triathlon, I also ride and race mountain bikes and I love obstacle racing. This is the real me, the real Derek Tingle. I am proof it is possible to change your life and want to inspire others to do the same.
